Sam von Schwerte is a very handsome 9-10 month old German Shepherd. (He came to us with an injured nose which is on the mend.) This young pup with the classic German Shepherd good looks is quite the gentleman. He walks very well on the leash and will stick right next to you throughout the walk. He shows great manners when meeting other dogs on leash and has received excellent marks on pack walks, including those as large as five dogs deep. Sam is all tail wags when people approach but is understandably still a bit sensitive about his nose. He is a medium energy dog and seems to have an easy-going personality. He does well with both female and male dogs. Off leash, he joins the playgroup with a friendly demeanor and greets everyone well. Sam seems to be housebroken. He’s a smart boy and knows some basic commands like sit and down. As you can see already, Sam is quite the catch and is eager to meet you too.
